Comments eh? I couldnt post directly to the previous posts so I will do so here. I agree with your idea that this plagiarism lacks the danger of a true plagiarism. I think we should all be assigned the task of plagiarizing a real paper for another class and get away with it. That would be an assignment.
I know I said this on someone else's blog too, but I envy your ability to be emotionally detached from the situation. You are lucky you found the assignment so easy, i thought it was harder than writing a normal paper!
Well hey, comments! As an aside to making one's plagiarism harder to detect, I was satisfied with paraphrasing whatever I took, but I found Scot's idea/experience even better: plagiarizing from a paper in a foreign language. I don't expect anybody to make a "translator" google-search any time soon.
oh goodness...I didn't mean to offend you-I'm sorry if I did. I am sure you are very creative, all I was saying is that this experience was harder for me than I expected it to be, and I was jealous that you found it easy to be alright with the situation. I know it was the assignment to plagiarize, and I still felt guilty..so mainly I was just envying that you don't have as guilty of a conscious as mine.
